Q — Is Bedrock interested in purchasing Algoma Steel Sault Ste. Marie?

A — Algoma is definitely on our radar screen. Q — Plans for Stelco management? A — The management team is quite good. I think it is a case of re-energizing some aspects of the management team in other cases redirecting some aspects of the management team.

Q — Are you concerned about NAFTA renegotiations?

A — NAFTA is an agreement that comes up for a relook every number of years. And now is the time to take a look at NAFTA. I think there are some opportunities specifically in the steel sector where NAFTA can improve the flow of trade between the participants of NAFTA. And so we think the timing is good for that discussion.

Q — Will you be active in the community?

A — We are people who give back to the community. We are really grateful for the reception we have received here from the mayor and his staff and others we have encountered. We will not disappoint the people of Hamilton. We expect to make Stelco a shining example of what Hamilton can do.
