Ashamed to be a Canadian

Your editorial on the above topic that ends with the quote “The Liberals are right to do this” is wrong on so many levels. I am ashamed to be a Canadian.

How could I ever explain this logic to my deceased grandfather who served at Vimy Ridge for four years and my deceased father who crossed the Atlantic 19 times on convoy escorts that we are giving an admitted killer $10.5 million and an apology without a fight? The right thing to do would have been to spend the money and fight it out in court and pay if the courts decide.
