Upper parkway curve part of the problem

RE: RHVP safety

As a daily user of the Red Hill Valley Parkway and a nearby resident, I can attest to the speed that some drivers feel they can get away with. That does not take away from the fact that it can be a tricky road to drive, especially in wet conditions.

One area not mentioned so far is the curve at the top in the transition to the Linc. This seems to have been poorly designed and/or poorly built. It is not a smooth arc like most broad curves. One could easily stray from one’s lane if not paying close attention.

It would be a blessing for all concerned if in future we heard fewer sirens responding to calls on this road. Ron Harrod, Hamilton
