Munsters reboot coming to NBC with Seth Meyers producing

-

There’s darn, darn, darn good news for fans of “The Munsters.” NBC and studio Universal TV are working on a reboot of the beloved 1960s comedy, with “Late Night” host Seth Meyers and Jill Kargman (“Odd Mom Out”) as executive producers. It marks NBC’s second attempt in recent years to revive the comedy, which centred on a sweet family of lovable monsters, including versions of Frankenstein’s monster, Dracula and the Wolfman, or, in that case, Wolfboy. Fred Gwynne, Yvonne De Carlo and Al Lewis starred in the two-season comedy, which many generations have seen in reruns.
