Bring Amazon to The Hammer

I just read an article about Amazon searching for a new headquarters location in North America. They will will build an 8 million square foot campus to employ some 50,000 well paying tech jobs and spend $8 billion US dollars on the project.

Personally I believe Hamilton would be a perfect location for this company. Hamilton has a large skilled workforce, research and development facilities, logistics with an international airport, port transportation, diverse population, youthful citizenship, and a lower Canadian Dollar.

Amazon is accepting proposals from interested municipalities. Toronto’s Major John Tory will actively be pursuing this development. Get in there mayor and bring Amazon, the fastest growing company on the globe, to The Hammer. Larry Good, Hamilton
