Six Nations police are searching for a 39-year-old man wanted in connection with the knifepoint abduction and assault of two teens in Ohsweken last week.

Jason Anthony Laforme is wanted on charges that include four counts of assault with a weapon, two counts of forcible confinement, break and entre, kidnapping, robbery, possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose, two counts of uttering threats and failing to comply with conditions.

Jennifer Lynn McIntyre, 39, of Brantford, has already been arrested in relation to the case. She is charged with three counts of assault with a weapon, two counts of forcible confinement, break and enter, kidnapping, robbery and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

The investigation began Sept. 11 about 2:20 a.m. when police were called to a reported assault near the Iroquois Plaza on Chiefswood Road in Ohsweken. Six Nations Police were directed to nearby Oak Street where a teen was being treated by paramedics. Police say the teen told them he had been abducted by a woman and two men at knifepoint earlier that night, about 10 p.m.

The teen says he was called outside from his friend’s home on Oak Street to talk to a friend from school. Once outside he was approached by a woman and two men, all armed with knives.

Police say he was forced into the back seat of a car and driven around for about four hours looking for a friend of his. They travelled all around Ohsweken, into Brantford and back to Ohsweken.

They were joined by a second vehicle, driven by a man, and together they found the second teen near the library in Ohsweken. This teen was assaulted by one of the men and the first teen was assaulted when he tried to intervene. The adults then fled in the two vehicles.

Anyone with info is asked to call Six Nations police at 519-445-2811 or Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-8477.
