Hamilton blues-rocker Tim Gibbons is representi­ng the Grand River Blues Society at the Internatio­nal Blues Challenge in Memphis and his musical pals are holding a fundraiser to help get him there on Saturday, 1 to 5 p.m. at The Casbah (Queen at King West). Other guests include Steve Strongman, Cadillac Bill, Ginger St. James, Jesse O’Brien, Michelle Titian and Chris Chambers. Tickets in advance are available on The Casbah website for 20, $50 or $100.

HEY STELLA

Hamilton alt-country queen Lori Yates makes a rare appearance with her bandmates from Hey Stella — guitarist David Baxter, bassist Bazil Donovan of Blue Rodeo and former Prairie Oyster drummer Michelle Josef — Saturday, 8:30 p.m. at the Pearl Company (16 Steven St.). Expect a mix of Yates’ make-you-weep originals and classic covers by artists like Warren Zevon and Leonard Cohen. With Melissa Marchese. Admission is $20.

TOM PETTY TRIBUTE

There’s a lot of love in Hamilton for the late great Tom Petty. On Saturday, local fan Christophe­r Clause is hosting a tribute to Petty at The Casbah (Queen at King West) with a few of his buddies from the Hamilton music scene. The show is all-ages so parents can bring their kids. Doors open at 8 p.m. Admission is $10.

THE CREEPSHOW

Burlington psycho-billy mainstays The Creepshow return to their old haunting grounds at The Casbah (Queen at King West) to give local fans a taste of the new album “Death at My Door,” featuring Kenda Legaspi on vocals. The Creepshow perform Sunday, at 8 p.m. Admission is $15.

THE ELWINS

The Elwins are four nerdy indie rockers from Keswick who drew worldwide attention for their second album “Play for Keeps,” released in 2015 on Hamilton’s Hidden Pony label, with the single “So Down Low.” The band’s new album “Beauty Community” is even better. The Elwins play Mills Hardware, 95 King St. E., on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 8 p.m., with the Fast Romantics. $15 in advance or $20 at the door.
