Gary Malyk takes some practice swings Monday on the Chedoke Municipal Golf Club range. Malyk is a season pass holder there, but the two courses closed for the season on the weekend. He’s waiting for his golfing buddies to return from a trip to South Carolina to get some more rounds in before the snow flies. King’s Forest Golf Club remains open until Nov. 19.
