Location change for police hearing

The location for a Hamilton police disciplinary case has been changed.

Closing submissions in the Police Services Act hearing of Const. Andrew Pfeifer scheduled for this Thursday have been moved to the Hamilton Convention Centre, 1 Summers Lane, in Albion rooms B and C.

Pfeifer faces a discreditable conduct charge in connection with a complaint by Coun. Matthew Green, about being stopped by the officer at Victoria Avenue South and Stinson Street on April 26, 2016.

The tense disciplinary hearing already heard from witnesses in the case over a week in September.

Police Services Act hearings are open to the public.

The hearing begins at 10 a.m.
