As we head into the flurry of the holiday season, finding time to relax and enjoy some quiet time can be challengin­g. Now is as good a time as any to grab a book and curl up for an hour in a cozy chair. Even better if it’s a Christmas-inspired book to spark the holiday spirit! Whether you prefer to read alone by a fire, or share a read-aloud with kids, we’ve got you covered with some top picks.

We asked Epic Books, located at 226 Locke St. S., Hamilton, to recommend their favourite holiday books to inspire some reading time in the days leading up to December 25. Once you’ve select the perfect book, be sure to grab a hot java or cup of cocoa, and reserve some special reading time.

Adult holiday books
