The number of shots goaltender Cole Ceci turned aside in his first OHL shutout — a 6-0 upset over the Mississauga Steelheads Sunday. The Ottawa native, 19, was traded to the Oshawa Generals last month after spending time with the Guelph Storm and Hamilton Bulldogs earlier in the season. He is 3-5 with a 3.37 goals-against average and a .900 save percentage since joining the Gens.

The number of points Ceci’s teammate Serron Noel, the OHL player of the week, has racked up in his last three games. The 6-foot-5, 205-pound winger had four goals and four assists in wins over the Barrie Colts and Steelheads and a loss to the Bulldogs. Born in Ottawa, the 17-year-old Noel now leads the Gens with 14 goals.

The number of short-handed goals registered by brothers Drake and Darian Pilon in a win over the Kitchener Rangers Sunday. The latter was in the box for tripping when his twin put the Sudbury Wolves on the board early in the first period of the 4-2 game. Darian later matched the feat with his team serving a delay-of-game penalty.
