Hamilton Girls’ Field Lacrosse Winter Skills Clinic for new and returning players. Girls ages 7 and up are welcome to give Canada’s National Summer Sport a try. Registration is $60 for all eight sessions or $12 per session drop in rate. Winter clinic is Jan. 13 to March 10, 11 a.m. to noon. (No clinic Feb. 10). Women’s field lacrosse is played outdoors from April to July. New this season will be a house league for young girls ages 4 to 9 years, from May to July. The winter clinic introduces lacrosse fundamentals to players and parents. Participants require a mouth guard. Sticks can be borrowed at the session for those who do not have one.
