Peacefully surrounded by his loving family on February 10, 2018 in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Nicolina (nee Morreale) for 45 years. Loving father and father-in-law of Maria Rosa and Walter Trisi and Carla and Michael Spina. Cherished Nonno to Vanessa, Marco, Victoria and Nicholas. Devoted son and sonin-law to the late Pasquale and Maria Rosa Romano and Salvatore and Calogera Morreale. Dear brother and brother-in-law to the late Filippo Romano, Francesca and the late Domenico Zappia, Giuseppe and Maria Romano, Angelo Romano, Salvatore Romano, Pasquale and Mariella Romano, the late Vincenza and Vincenzo Matteliano, Carmela and the late Croce Morreale, Antonina and the late Francesco Alfano, Maria and the late Salvatore Cino, Pietra and the late Carmelo Restivo and the late Rosalia Morreale. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Long time employee of Campli Metal and proud retired owner of Romano Cheese in the Hamilton Farmers Market. Rosario enjoyed gardening, singing and making his friends and family laugh. Rosario was a true family man and often told his daughters he was born to be a Nonno. Resting at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL; 43 Barton St. E., Tuesday, February 13th from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday, February 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers on Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be offered at All Souls church on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Mausoleum (681 Mud Rd. E. Stoney Creek).
