PASETTO, Anna Maria

-

Peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, Anna passed away at Juravinski Hospital on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the age of 83. She is now to be reunited with the love of her life, Silverio Pasetto (2014). Anna was the loving mother of Roberto and Stefania Pasetto. Nonna will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Natasha and Marco, sisters Dea Bunkiewie, Vanda (Mario) Palombella, Ida Faccenda (the late Mondo), and brother Malio (Violet) Pizzagalli, and sister-in-law of Adua Uppiani, as well as many nieces and nephews. You are deeply missed by everyone you’ve touched. Anna would always be busy with her friends at Trieste Bocce Club playing bocce ball or just relaxing. Anna would spend endless hours taking care of her flowers, she always said “the world would be a better place if everyone would just take the time to see the beauty of flowers”. Anna refused to let her battle with cancer stop her from doing all the things she loved, which showed her strength and her spirit. Nonna was always ready to listen to her grandchildren who called her, the voice of reason or the wise one. There are no words that describe how much we will miss you, however three words will help us get through this… We love you. Visitation is to be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME 796 Upper Gage Ave (between Mohawk and Fennell) on Monday, February 26, 2018 from 3-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers to take place at 8:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church (20 Idlewood Ave.) on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow to Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
