The number of points earned by the Sudbury Wolves this season — the least of any OHL team, which gives them the first overall selection in next month’s priority selection. It will be the second time in four years the Wolves have had the top pick. David Levin, the Israeli winger they took at No. 1 in 2015, played just 46 games this year, scoring 29 points and finishing with one of the leauge’s worst plus-minus ratings at minus-35.

73

The number of points separating Sudbury from the top-seeded Sault Greyhounds. The Soo racked up a remarkable 116 points in the regular season — second-most in league history behind the 2004-05 London Knights — to earn the Hamilton Spectator Trophy. The prize, which the OHL has been stashing in a storage closet for at least a decade, still hasn’t materialized.

115

The number of points scored by Barrie Colts centre Aaron Luchuk, the OHL’s regular-season scoring champ. The 20-year-old Eddie Powers Memorial Trophy winner notched 50 goals and 65 assists in 68 games with Barrie and Windsor — nearly doubling his point tally over his last two campaigns. He had 53 points for the Spitfires in 2015-16 and 60 a year later.

The number of Colts that have been awarded the Eddie Powers prize. On top of Luchuk, winger Kevin Labanc earned it with a club record 127 points in 2015-16, while Sheldon Keefe had 121 during Barrie’s 1999-2000 championship season. Luchuk’s 50 goals also tied him for tops in the league with linemate Dmitry Sokolov, who required four fewer games to hit the half-century mark.

194

The number of goals scored by the Flint Firebirds this campaign — collectively. At 2.85 goals per game, the club found the back of the net less frequently than anyone else in the league (and only marginally more than the combination of Sokolov, Luchuk and Andrei Svechnikov, who chipped in 40 as a rookie). To make matters worse, the Firebirds also gave up the most goals at 316, or 4.65 per game.

186

The number of goals allowed by the Soo this season, which earned the tandem of Matthew Villalta and Tyler Johnson the Dave Pinkney Trophy for the OHL’s lowest team goals-against. Villalta, a 19-yearold netminder from Godfrey, led the league with a 2.58 goalsagainst average in 49 appearances, while 20-year-old Johnson, a native of Amherst, N.Y., had a 2.36 GAA in 16.

The number of days until the OHL playoffs officially start. Six teams will be in action Thursday — the

Ottawa 67’s face the Bulldogs in Hamilton, the Owen Sound Attack host the London Knights, and the Mississauga Steelheads visit the Barrie Colts. The remaining 10 clubs will hit the ice for Game 1 of their first-round series Friday.

2-4

Barrie’s record against the No. 7 Steelheads this campaign. The Colts, who go into the post-season as the No. 2 seed in the East, haven’t been able to beat Mississauga since early December and were outscored 27-21 in their six regular-season bouts. The biggest threat? Mathieu Foget, who had eight points in three games against Barrie after being traded to the Fish.
