Three from Hamilton arrested with nearly $41,000 worth of drugs
BRANTFORD — A trio from Hamilton are facing drug charges after Brantford police uncovered nearly $41,000 worth of drugs and more than $4,000 cash when they spotted a vehicle associated with an outstanding warrant.
Officers from Brantford’s BEAT Unit (Better Enforcement Action Team) approached a BMW outside a Market Street South business, in the south end of the city, shortly before 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, acting on information that the owner of the vehicle was wanted on a warrant.
Brantford police said the driver of the vehicle identified himself as the wanted man and was arrested without incident.
Police allege they found crack cocaine, methamphetamine, powder cocaine, fentanyl, codeine pills and more than $3,000 cash in his possession.
A male passenger was allegedly in possession of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine and more than $800 cash. Police also allege they found more cocaine and methamphetamine in the car. There was also a female passenger in the vehicle.
Khalid Mohamed, 22, and Aladin Abdelgadir, 22, both from Hamilton are each charged with four counts of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, and breach of probation.
Elizabeth Nikolovski, 18, from Hamilton is charged with three counts of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
