The number of OHL conference titles won by members of the Strome clan. Ryan, the eldest of the three hockey playing siblings, won an Eastern Conference championsh­ip with the 2011-2012 Niagara IceDogs, while Dylan, the middle child, won the Western Conference title with the Erie Otters in 2014-15 and 2016-17. The youngest Strome brother, Matt, could make it four with one more win against the Kingston Frontenacs — his Hamilton Bulldogs go into Game 5 with a 3-1 lead in the Eastern Conference final.

The number of times the Bulldogs have won a playoff series in Game 5 so far. The team took its conference quarter-final against the Ottawa 67’s in five games before repeating the feat against the Niagara IceDogs in the Eastern semifinal. It can do again Thursday at FirstOntar­io Centre against the Fronts.

The number of people on hand the last time the Bulldogs hosted Game 5 of a semifinal series. It was back in 2011 when the team was still a member of the American Hockey League and it beat the Houston Aeros 4-2. So far this year, Hamilton has admitted an average of 4,126 fans to eight playoff games or 33,005 total. Its biggest and smallest draws were both against Niagara — 6,021 for Game 2 and 2,691 for Game 1, respective­ly.

The number of penalty minutes recorded by Nick Suzuki — the OHL’s most sportsmanl­ike player — in 64 games this season. The Owen Sound Attack forward was announced as the winner of the William Hanley Trophy Tuesday, becoming the fourth player in league history to earn the award in back-to-back seasons. A former round pick of the Vegas Golden Knights, Suzuki finished one point ahead of Barrie’s Aaron Luchuk in voting for the honour, while Kingston’s Linus Nyman was the second runner up.

The number of PIMs recorded by Kingston’s Max Jones in his last four games alone, including six — two each for slashing, roughing and unsportsma­nlike conduct — in a 2:18 span of Game 4 against the Bulldogs Tuesday. The 19-year-old winger was also given a misconduct and a game misconduct after mouthing off at officials late in the first period. Jones, an Anaheim Ducks draft pick, leads the Fronts with 26 penalty minutes in the playoffs, while Ryan Moore is tops among Hamilton players with 24. 0.9

The number of seconds left in regulation when Connor Timmins scored to push the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds past the Kitchener Rangers 3-2 in Game 1 of the OHL’s Western Conference final Friday.

Morgan Frost won a draw in the offensive zone and Taylor Raddysh sent the puck to Timmins to set up the buzzer beater, which was ruled good after a lengthy review. The Soo also took Game 2 on home ice before dropping Game 3 in Kitchener Monday.
