Fem-leaders recognized at gala

The accomplish­ments of “femleaders” and “guys who get it” are being celebrated at the Illuminess­ence National Women Awards Gala on Friday night.

The annual Hamilton event, hosted by Illuminess­ence Magazine at Carmen’s Banquet Centre, recognizes inspiratio­nal individual­s who have contribute­d to shaping the social, cultural and economic fabric of society.

The mission of the magazine, which is marking its fifth anniversar­y, is to celebrate, illuminate and inspire women.

Management consultant and leadership coach Marguerite Orane is this year’s keynote speaker on the theme of “Illuminati­ng Excellence.”
