As the home riding of NDP Leader Andrea Horwath, this area of the city has been solidly orange since Horwath was first elected in 2007. This year, the riding boundaries changed slightly to match federal riding boundaries. The riding now stretches from the 403 to the west, the harbour to the North, Kenilworth Avenue to the East, and the Mountain Brow to the South.
