Larvicidin­g for West Nile starts in Halton

Halton Region has started its annual larvicidin­g to reduce the risk of West Nile virus from mosquito bites. The larvicidin­g applies pesticides to areas of standing water such as catch basins and storm water ponds. The larvicide program runs until August.
