Hamilton seniors honoured for work

Event celebrates community work

The Hamilton Senior of the Year Awards were held Wednesday night at Michelange­lo Banquet Centre.

The awards, in their second year, recognize those who have contribute­d to the enrichment of the social, cultural or civic life of the Hamilton community.

There were 35 nominees in nine categories, as well as four young people nominated for the Youth Award portion of the awards, newly introduced this year.
