HAMILTON OLDTIMERS’ BASEBALL ORGANIZATI­ON Bob Bell smacked four hits while Fred Midgley had three and drove in five runs to lead the A's back into sole possession of first place in the 55-and-over division, with a 16-10 win over the Tigers. Mike Parisi and John Young each had three hits for the A’s, with one of Parisi's being a long triple. Rob Whitenect, Paul Smelser and Ian Kelso each had two hits for the winners. Jeff Lumby and Al Purins each banged out three hits for the Tigers, while Darrell Smith, Guy Douglas and Brian Fraser each had a pair. Fraser also scored three runs while Rod Currie drove in three. In the other game, Rich Salvatore, with four hits and three RBI, and Greg McEachern, with four hits and two RBI, led the Dodgers to a 13-7 win over the Cardinals. Harvey Sahker had three hits while Dan Kaluzny had two. Both Sahker and Kaluzny scored three runs. Allan Agnew drove in a pair of runs and also scored two for the Dodgers. Chris Fraser, Ian Robertson and Brian Avery each smacked two hits for the Cardinals. Fraser scored three runs.
