PATSY CLINE

Hamilton country sweetheart Lori Yates and her band the Nashville Rejects host their annual tribute to the great Patsy Cline, who died 55 years ago in a tragic plane crash. Some of the city’s top singers — including Melissa Marchese, Sue Leonard, Shari Dunn, Mimi Shaw and Jennifer Budd — will join Lori in singing classics like “Crazy” and “Walkin’ After Midnight.” At The Casbah, Queen at King Street West, Friday, June 29. Show starts at 9 p.m. $25.

SIMPLY SAUCER

Simply Saucer were years ahead of its time when the Hamilton band began distilling its wicked brew of psycho-proto-punk back in 1974. With founder Edgar Breau still at the helm, the band is still pushing its sound forward. Simply Saucer is releasing two new songs — “Lo-Fi Garage Symphonette” and “Alien Cornfield” — on 7-inch vinyl with a show at This Ain’t Hollywood, 345 James St. N., on Saturday, June 30, with Shooting Guns and Hawkeyes. 9 p.m. $15.

JUNKHOUSE

It’s Your Festival is loading up the Gage Park bandshell with classic Hamilton rock bands this weekend, including Monday, July 2, reunion of Junkhouse at 9 p.m. On Sunday, July 1, the lineup will be The Shakers (7 p.m.), Crowbar (8:30 p.m.) and Teenage Head (10 p.m.). The festival’s Saturday night headliner is Wide Mouth Mason at 9 p.m. Admission to It’s Your Festival is free.

DAN BAIRD

Dan Baird is best known as lead singer and founder of the Georgia Satellites, an Atlanta-based rock band that made it to No. 2 on the Billboard charts with the song “Keep Your Hands to Yourself” (it couldn’t knock Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on a Prayer” out of the top spot). Baird brings his Homemade Sin band to This Ain’t Hollywood, 345 James St. N., on Tuesday, July 3. Tim Gibbons and the Swampbusters open. 8 p.m. $20.
