It is with great sadness that we announce that Larry peacefully passed away, with his family by his side on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at St. Peter’s Hospital. Born to Howard and Gertrude Webber in Chester, N.S. He was predecease­d by his wife of over 50 years, Donna. Amazing father to Beth Galama and Jane (Walter) Drescher of Simcoe. Loved by his grandchild­ren Michelle Galama (Brett), Ryan Galama (Nev); Madison and Evan Drescher and his first great granddaugh­ter Hayley. Brother to Walter (Debra) Webber of Chester, N.S. Larry dedicated many decades to the community of Ancaster and beyond by delivering meals; driving patients to appointmen­ts, food drives, president of Men’s Fitness Club, active member of Marshall Memorial Church and so much more. After retiring from his own business, he greeted at Ancaster Walmart for over 15 years. Member of the Masonic Lodge of the Ancient Landmarks A.F. & A.M. #654, G.R.C. for over 60 years where he was Chaplain for over 35 years. Larry (dad) lived a great life. He traveled across the globe loved and lived life to its fullest. Loved all sports and enjoyed many games of golf with his friends and family. He brought cheer and hope to so many. You were a blessing to others on this earth. Donations can be made to Ancaster Community Services or Marshall Memorial Church. Many heartfelt thanks to the awesome, caring staff at St. Peter’s Hospital. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. at DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home ANCASTER CHAPEL, 378 Wilson St. E., Ancaster, Ont.
