BARTOLOTTA (Morreale), Rosa

Peacefully at Willow Grove Nursing Home on July 14, 2018, in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Calogero for 63 years. Loving mother of Greg (Sandy), and Clara (Mirek Jajdelski). Cherished Nonna of Stephanie (Mario Ferretti), Andrew, Jacqueline (Frank Mauro), Matthew and Patrick. Dear sister of the Morreale family resting in Italy including the late Angelo, the late Raffaele, the late Giuseppina (late Raffaele), the late Calogero (late Maria), the late Giuseppe (late Maria), the late Salvatore (late Concetta), and the late Luigi (Lina). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Dear sister-in-law of the Bartolotta family, including the late Salvatore (late Giuseppina), the late Maria (late Antonio Guastella), the late Salvatrice (late Alfonso Puzzo), the late Carmelo (late Rosa), the late Giuseppe (late Antonietta), the late Luigi (late Angela), and Angelo (Giuseppina).

Special thank you to all of the staff at Willow Grove Nursing Home for all of their excellent care and compassion. Rosa immigrated to Canada from Racalmuto, Italy and started her life in Hamilton in the early 50s. Rosa was a determined and hard-working individual during her time at Cambridge Clothing and other employment positions which she occupied. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her involvement at the Bingo socials at Our Lady of All Souls Parish, dancing to Italian music, and her contagious laugh and smile. We will always cherish her delicious baking and cooking especially her cannolis, pizza, and olives.

Resting at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton St. E. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 17, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will take place Tuesday evening. Funeral Mass will be offered at Our Lady of All Souls Church on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington.
