Passed away peacefully with his children by his side, at St. Peter’s Hospital in Hamilton on Friday, July 13, 2018, in his 76th year. Beloved and devoted husband to the late Ermelinda (nee Drosi). Loving father of Franca, Ippolito “Bor” (Cherryl), Ferdinando and Tonina Keddle (Wayne). Proud Nonno of Evan and Lexi. Dear brother of Ferdinando (late Rosa), Rosa De Fazio (Mario) and Guilia De Fazio (late Franco). Brother-in-law of Giusseppe, Antonietta, Maria (late Serafino), Carmelo, Antonio (Maria), Ettore, Emma (late Roberto). Pietro will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends in Italy and Canada. Pietro retired from Dofasco after 25 years. He loved his garden and spending time with his family. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at St. Peter’s Hospital Pallative Care 3 East Wing and Dr. Bev. A special thanks to his sisters for all their love and care. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Roman Catholic Church at Nash Road and Barton Street, Hamilton on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 9 a.m. Entombment at Bayview Cemetery & Mausoleum in Burlington.
