Not buying White Helmets story

RE: ISRAEL RESCUES SYRIANS (JULY 23)

-

Israel is a serial violator of Palestinian human and national rights. It rescued Syrian White Helmets, not for humanitarian motives, in our opinion, but rather to help the U.S. coalition (which includes Canada and Israel) because White Helmets were intelligence assets in its failed regime change operation in Syria.

As we see it, plans to resettle them in Canada expose how deeply successive Canadian governments were involved in organizing a brutal international regime of economic sanctions transforming four million Syrians into refugees; in raising international military support for the “rebels”; in demonizing the Syrian government; and in directly funding the White Helmets.

We don’t buy the White Helmets as humanitarian volunteers.

White Helmet employees are accused of creating staged videos of child rescues or “chemical incidents” to serve as pretexts for western military intervention in Syria, such as the bogus April 7 “chemical attack” on Douma, which prompted the US-UK-French missile attacks on Syria of April 13.

The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons just confirmed that no nerve agents were used in Douma.

In short, as we see it, the White Helmets were the propaganda arm of al-Qaida.

Canadians should not celebrate this “rescue.” Instead, in our view, Canadians should demand the Trudeau government quit the U.S. coalition for regime change in Syria, re-establish diplomatic ties with Damascus, end economic sanctions and pay its share for reconstruction of the country — reparations for the enormous damage it caused in Syria.
