Until his retirement, Stanley was a tool and die maker for International Harvester/Case. He was an innovative mechanical designer who could fix anything and everything. He especially enjoyed repairing clocks and watches, home projects of all kinds, and woodworking. He was active in the Cerebral Palsy Association and one of the initiators of Participation House (Able Living) in Binbrook. We are grateful to the staff on ALC2, St. Joseph Hospital, for the excellent care provided and compassion shown during Stanley’s last months and to Catholic Family Services for all their support throughout a difficult time. According to Stanley’s wishes, cremation has taken place following a private family service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Stanley’s memory can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario.
