ARGENT, Frederick (Fred)

October 5, 1948 - August 17, 2018 After 69 years of living life large, with broken hearts we announce the passing our husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend. Fred is survived by his loving wife Marilyn (nee Daoust) of 46 years and his children Chris and Deb Argent, Cerri and Darren Knap and Raistlan. Proud Bampa of Ricky (Mackenzie), Tye, Kylie, Erin and Katie as well as special uncle to Cole. Brother of Barb, Lorne and Holly, Keith and Lana, Cathy and the late Gus, Marlene and Blair. Brother-in-law of Wayne, Anne and the late Gerry, and Terry. Uncle to many loved nieces and nephews. Special family friends Joan, Johnny and Teresa, Bryan, Bill, Dee and Annie. Godfather of Emily, foster dad to many loved foster children. (P.S. you uggie Cathy) Proud veteran of Canadian Armed Forces, hardworking and dedicated retiree of Dofasco and Empire Crane Float. A hockey coach to many and dear friend to many more and also puppies Tucker, Baeley and Tanner. Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Monday, August 20th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, August 21st at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory can be made to Emmanuel House Hospice and the Cancer Assistance Program.
