Winona Peach Festival
Home of the peach sundae, dive into the Winona Peach Festival this weekend at Winona Park. The peachy party runs Friday, 5 to 11 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. It’s at 1328 Barton St., just west of Fifty Road in Winona. The festival has something for everyone: arts and crafts, amusement rides and games, commercial exhibits, a car show on Saturday and Sunday, and a food court. A free HSR shuttle is available from Eastgate Square to the festival. No pets please. winonapeach.com

More than 80 vendors of handmade arts are expected Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at McMaster Innovation Park, 175 Longwood Rd. S. Shoppers will find independent works by mostly local designers, including handmade furniture and homewares, to jewelry and edible treats. Admission is $5.
Walk and Roll
Join in this fun fundraising event for people with disabilities. On Saturday, hear guest speaker Dylan Atack, followed with an awareness Walk and Roll, lunch, entertainment and a community showcase at Hamilton City Hall from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
HMCS Haida
The HMCS Haida is celebrating its 75th anniversary on Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The HMCS Haida National Historic Site is located at 658 Catharine St. N., Pier 9. A shore leave party and swing dance under the stars takes place Saturday from 8 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $14.60 and available by calling 905-526-6742. Sunday at noon, they’ll be a gun firing, followed by cake and refreshments, as well as special guided tours.
Tesla Festival
The Tesla Electric City Festival is Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The festival is being held to celebrate 120 years of electricity and the technological achievements of Nikola Tesla. It takes place at the Hamilton Museum of Steam and Technology National Historic Site located at 900 Woodward Ave. The free event will feature demonstrations, musical entertainment, Golden Horseshoe Live Steamers and food trucks.
