COLLINS, Madeline (formerly Forster, Fawcett) (nee Garvey)

April 16, 1937 - October 28, 2018 Peacefully in her 82nd year, Madeline (Pat) passed away at Brantford General Hospital. Daughter of Martha Hill (nee Lickers) and Clarence Garvey. Predeceased by husbands, David Collins (2012), and Charlie Forster (1975); and by former husband, Ron Fawcett (2003). Loving mother of Tammalie (Michael) McGee and Jan (Deb) Forster. Grandmother of Cameron (Diana), Shannon (Adam), Lindsay, Greg, and Heather. Greatgrandmother of Ava, Carter, Atticus, Paisley, Ethan, Oliver, and Berkleigh. Step-mother to David’s girls in New Zealand and Australia: Sharon, Janette, and Andrea. Former stepmother to Pat, Pete, John, Jeannie, and Judy. Step-grandmother of Casey (Dakota), Kelsie, Morgan, Hayden, Mikayla, and Jorja. Predeceased by granddaughter, Julia (1999). Survived by her sister, Ila Franklin, and her brother, Clarence. Predeceased by siblings Kitty, Renee, Helen, Irving, Bern, and brother at birth. Thank you to Mom’s PSWs, in particular, Janene, and the staff at Tranquility Place as well as Brantford General Hospital. Mom had many friends from the Historical Automobile Society of Canada, and the “Pond”. Her passion was bingo and she loved her bingo friends. Funeral will take place at Jerseyville United Church, 17 Field Road, Jerseyville on Sunday, November 4th at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Caitlin MacKenzie officiating.
