Making memories is at the heart of what Front Line Tours offers its customers. The Hamilton-based bus tour company has earned a reputation for offering premium bus tour packages to North America’s top destinations. Packed itineraries, reliable service and all-in pricing are the hallmarks of Front Line Tours’ packages that keep its customers coming back time and again.

“We have customers who have been on over one hundred trips with us,” explains Randy Jordan who owns and operates the family-run business with wife Jocelyne and their son and daughterin-law, Paul and Melody Jordan. “We’re in the business of helping people make new friends and great memories that will last forever.”

What exactly makes Front Line Tours so memorable? The entire trip, from the moment the customer gets on the bus, is carefully planned based on the company’s years of expertise. Customers are guided through the destination city’s top attractions by the tour company’s friendly and knowledgeable escorts. Dinners are booked at local eateries that have been tested and approved by the guides well in advance of the tour. The same careful consideration goes into the hotels.

“We have tested or been to most every hotel before we book it to ensure it has the key features we look for and offers the deluxe accommodations our customers expect,” says Jocelyne. It’s famed Chicago Highlights tour boasts a guided tour of the windy city, visits to Navy Pier and Millennium Park, dinner theatre at Tommy Gun’s Garage and an architectural boat cruise. Front Line’s customers need not plan a thing.

Bus tours are offered to a wide variety of cities including New York City, Nashville, Coastal Maine, Ottawa and Old Quebec to name a few. All destinations are listed with pre-itinerary summaries at www.frontlinetours.ca. With many tours lasting three to five days, enjoying two or three tours per year is achievable both from a scheduling and budgeting standpoint.

Budgeting is simple when booking a Front Line Tour. Prices are quoted in Canadian dollars, so there is no hand wringing over U.S. exchange rates as the date of departure approaches. The price includes all accommodations and transportation, all attractions included in the itinerary, as well as most breakfasts and dinners. In fact, this is one of the key differences between Front Line Tours – most of its competitors do not offer the same level of inclusions in their prices. For Front Line customers, the majority of the trip’s expenses are paid for up front.

When considering which tour to book, Jocelyne recommends travellers be honest with their physical abilities and limitations and select an itinerary within their comfort level. Certainly, modifications can be made for individuals, if necessary. It is recommended this be discussed in advance of booking a tour.

Whether travelling solo, as a couple or in a group, the camaraderie among all the travelers emerges quickly, attests Paul.

“When we arrive in the morning of the first day of the tour to load the coach, I often see people greeting one another with hugs because they remember each other from previous trips,” says Paul. “The bonds created on our trips are real and they last. It’s amazing to see.”
