RE: WOMAN SPENDS FINAL HOURS IN ER HALLWAY (NOV. 3)

This article seems to blame the ER for this error. In reality the call placed to send her there in the first place was the mistake. A plan should have been in place to allow her to die with dignity and comfort at home. The ER did what little they could at the time, but ER stands for emergency, not palliative care.
