EVERETT SILVERTIPS | 2017-18

This is just a sinister entry by the WHL’s Silvertips. The Everett franchise turns 15 years old this season, so the squad has come up with special sweaters designed to have a “throwback” feel. And it is a winner. Based off special jerseys the team has worn on previous throwback nights, these will be worn on designated anniversary evenings during the season.

The clean lines and big, bold ‘E’ logo are excellent. The best flourish, however, may be the bear mascot on the shoulder. Everett has gone through a couple of main crests and while that predator is nice, it wasn’t too different from a lot of other hockey bears.

The throwback bear, however, has a classic feel and definitely sells the overall look.
