“Where in ’91?” That was un­doubt­edly the most burn­ing ques­tion of the 199091 sea­son, as junior phe­nom Eric Lin­dros led the OHL in scor­ing and was el­i­gi­ble for the up­com­ing 1991 NHL draft. Seventh In­ning Sketch – a silly name for a com­pany that made hockey cards – rode the hype around ‘The Next One’ and is­sued not one but three cards of Lin­dros in its in­au­gu­ral 1989-90 OHL set. In­cluded was this card dis­cussing where Lin­dros might land next sea­son, even cor­rectly spec­u­lat­ing that a block­buster deal would be made be­fore his NHL de­but.
