The security of a long-term deal has not made Alexander Radulov complacent. He remains determined to prove to the hockey world he can be counted on in crucial situations. He was Montreal’s best player in the post-season last year and will need to be productive again this spring for the Stars to have any playoff success. The clamps will undoubtedly be on Tyler Seguin once again in the playoffs, given his success during the regular season. To this point in his career, he hasn’t been able to provide a breakout playoff. That will have to change.
