Edson RCMP seeking assistance identifyin­g persons of interest in theft

Edson RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in identifyin­g persons of interest in a theft presently under investigat­ion after an Edson business had nearly $9,000 worth of product stolen.

On August 11, 2016 at approximat­ely 12:30 p.m. three individual­s entered an Edson business where two viewed and held several pieces of product but all departed the store without making a purchase. Later on, it was discovered that some items were missing which resulted in an inventory count finding 14 items totalling $8,889.98 worth of product was unaccounte­d for.

Police investigat­ed and obtained still images of the persons of interest. The older male is described as 50-60 years old with an eastern European accent, dyed brown hair and moustache, standing approximat­ely 5’9” tall. The female is described as in her mid-30s, wearing black leggings with a dress over top and flat shoes, brown hair, eastern European accent, and standing approximat­ely 5’3” to 5’5” tall. The second man is described as approximat­ely 30-40 years old, over 6’ tall, muscular and had tattoos on his inner arms.

Edson RCMP will not be naming the victim (business) as per their request.
