On November 27, 2017, the Board of Living Waters Catholic Schools had the opportunity to hear from all the schools across the Division with respect to their Annual Plans for Learning. All schools identified their priorities and their plans that align with the Blueprint for the Future 4.0 and 20/20 Vision for Learning. All trustees were pleased with the work and attention that has gone into the planning at each school and look forward to seeing the results that emerge as the plans come to fruition.

The Board of Living Waters Catholic School trustees participated in a Board Orientation Workshop on November 28th facilitated by ASBA Consultant Terry Gunderson. The day focussed mostly on governance, and the role and responsibility of the trustee. At the end of the workshop, each member of the Board of Trustees wrote a legacy statement backed with a commitment statement which will enable them to do the work of a Trustee and as a Board focussed on strong governance.

The Board approved the 2017/2018 Budget as presented.

Following a presentation on the Year End Audit from Curtis Friesen, Hawkings Epp Dumont, the Board of Living Waters approved the Audited Financial Statement for the year ending August 31, 2017. The Audited Financial Statement is now posted on our Living Waters website.

As we approach the Advent season, the Living Waters Board of Trustees would like to remind all school communities to take the time to prepare their hearts and homes for the Christmas Season.
