Special to the Post

MP Eglinski is pleased to announce a call for submissions to his 3rd annual Christmas Card Contest. Each December, Members of Parliament have the opportunity to send out Christmas cards to constituents. Usually, these cards display the family of the parliamentarian and/or an Ottawa scene. However, given that there are many talented young individuals within the Yellowhead riding, MP Eglinski wants to recognize one of these artists and showcase their artwork.

Guidelines, Rules and Conditions:

1. This contest is open to all students in the Yellowhead Riding who are in Kindergarten through Grade 8. 2. Each entry must be accompanied by a signed entry form, which can be obtained from www. jimeglinski.ca.

3. All formats welcome…water colour, pastel, crayon, painting, pen and ink drawing, photograph, etc.

Completed artwork must be submitted with the entry form, postage free, to my Ottawa Office at:

MP Jim Eglinski

Room 304, Justice Building House of Commons OTTAWA ON K1A 0A6

The winning entry will be displayed on the cover of MP Eglinski’s 2018 Christmas card, and the name of the artist will be printed (with parental permission) on the back of the cards. Submission Deadline: October 9, 2018
