Missing male located deceased in remote area

Nothing in regards to the circumstances indicate Rick’s death is suspicious at this time. The Edson RCMP will await the results of his autopsy for further information. An autopsy will be completed by the Edmonton Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

Following several days of extensive searches by Edson RCMP, along with the assistance of RCMP Air Services, Police Dog Services, numerous surrounding area Search and Rescue teams, on June 28, 2020, Rick Paulson was located

in a remote area deceased.

Nothing in regards to the circumstances indicate Rick’s death is suspicious at this time. The Edson RCMP will await the results of his autopsy for further information. An autopsy will be completed by the Edmonton Office of the Chief

Medical Examiner.
