Cricket fans paint the town green with car rally in Surrey

On June 19th The Pakistani Community in Vancouver celebrated a historic Victory by Pakistani cricket team which will be remembered for a long time. Pakistani Cricket lovers gathered at Holland Park in Surrey at 6:30 PM where they celebrated Pakistani Cricket Team Victory against India and taking home the Champions Trophy. The car rally started 7:30pm from King George Blvd route to 72 Ave. The first stop was at Surrey Jameh Masjid intersec- tion 124th St x 72 Ave. With various stops along Scott Road the rally ended at the Parking lot of Strawberry Hill shopping plaza. As cars moved around town, enthusiastic fans showed their love for their beloved team cheering at red lights.
