NNEC wins silver

The NNEC girls varsity volleyball team travelled to Pomquet this weekend and came away with the silver medal. They defeated East Antigonish, Richmond, Cheticamp, and Dr. J.H. Gillis to advance to the semi-final. The Gryphons were victorious over the host team Pomquet to play in the final, where the girls were defeated by SAERC two sets to one. Roshan Ghafari was named team MVP for the Gryphons.
