Ilsa needs a home

- The Paw Files are written by Nikhi Cormier, an animal lover and employee of The News.

Ilsa is about nine months old and there is not much history on her. This stunning beauty arrived at the Pictou SPCA shelter almost one month ago a stray.

While she is great with people, Ilsa does like to be the only kitty. She is unsure of the other kitties and will show them she is the boss. Some of her favourite things are playing with her toys, especially feather mice, being flattered and hearing baby talk, and having a bit of moist food with her kibble in the morning.

While she may sound like a bit of a diva, Ilsa really would make someone a wonderful companion friend, because she is sweet and attentive to her human friends. After living on the streets, she should embrace her inner diva and have a chance to find the friend of a lifetime.

Ilsa has been spayed, needled, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped and feline leukemia testedso she has been vet checked and comes with her health certification.

You can call Pictou SPCA at 902396-3595.

Visit their site: http://spcans.ca/ pictoucounty, or visit the shelter on Abercrombie Road in New Glasgow. (Call ahead to confirm hours)/.

Please remember that this coming week is the last week to drop a donation off at our office. It would be so nice to see our subscribers come in with a can of food or some feather mouse toys (which seem to be a huge hit at the SPCA) when renewing. If you are not sure what to bring, how to get here, or need a question answered, feel free to give me a call at 902-928-3515.
