Ida Dusconi

NEW GLASGOW – Ida Dusconi, 91, of 572 Trenton Road, New Glasgow passed away March 24, 2017, in the Aberdeen Hospital.

Born in Rome, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Maria and Gualtiero Sette. She is survived by her daughter, Rita (Fred) Fraser, Millbrook; two sons, Bruno (Janice) Dusconi, Trenton; Carlo (Sandra) Dusconi, Salmon Arm, B.C. She will be sadly missed by her three grandchildren, Stephen (Vanessa), Mark (Jennifer), Michelle (Matthew); great grand-daughter, Harper Lucy “Ida”, whom she so loved to see during her stay in the hospital; also a sister, Alberta, numerous nieces and nephews (Italy.)

Ida was predeceased by her husband, Ernesto, two sisters, Ada and

Lucianna, brother, Bruno.

We would like to extend our appreciation to Dr. Gregor MacLean and to the many kind and caring nurses and staff on the 4th and 5th floor of the Aberdeen Hospital.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 29 from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at R.H. Porter Funeral Home, 55 Almont Ave., New Glasgow, with funeral to follow at 11 a.m., with Father Tom MacNeil officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the Holy Cross Cemetery. No flowers by request of the family.
