Are you in pain?

- Lisa McNiven

Many of my readers can answer yes to this question or, sometimes, it depends on whether or not you exerted yourself the day or weeks before. Let’s just go over some general everyday changes you can start incorporating into your everyday life.

Begin by introducing a greens powder in your water each and every day as this aids in detoxifying your body, alkalinizing your system and providing minerals. Check out tripow.ca and learn about the energy balls you can make with this tasty greens powder. My patients add pineapple juice and absolutely love it!!

An exceptional anti-inflammatory supplement that I am happy to introduce to many of you is known as serrapeptase. There are many studies found in the medical online search engine known as Pubmed. This is found in capsule form and the product is a very distinct enzyme that aids in decreasing swelling and inflammation in the body.

It has many more actions as my patients are starting to see the benefits.

Other herbs that help with pain include curcumin, boswellia and devil’s claw.

Think about following your blood type diet as this is based on an anti-inflammatory diet. I include this in every initial consult. I have seen time and time again my patients feeling better, with less pain and swelling and less constipation.

Homeopathic remedies are always helpful to add to the protocol when someone is complaining of pain. Specific questions must be answered for exact remedies however a general homeopathic to take for pain would be Arnica 30CH. Acupuncture and castor oil packs help as well.
