● Knitting Circle – Alternating Saturdays at 2:30 p.m., New Glasgow library.
● Auction 45s – Pictou New Horizons Club, 7 p.m. Admission $2.
● Karaoke – New Glasgow Legion by Doug Odo, 9 p.m.-1 a.m.
● Puppetry Club – Pictou library 10:30 a.m. For children 5+, preregistration required. Learn to make puppets and have them tell a story.
● Family Lego Time – Pictou library, 3-4:30 p.m. All are welcome.
● Card Party – Bridgeville Community Hall 7:30 p.m. Lunch served. Everyone welcome.
● Steak Darts – Pictou legion 1:30 p.m. All welcome.
● Imagination Saturdays – Make something cool to take home, crafts, Lego (drop-in, all ages) 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Pictou Library; 10 a.m.-3 p.m. River John Library; 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Westville Public Library; 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Stellarton Public Library.
● Chase the Ace – Stellarton Fire Hall or Eureka Fire Hall 2-4 p.m.

● Crohn’s and Colitis Meeting – 7 p.m. at the Sobeys Community Room, West Side, New Glasgow. Guest will be Amanda, the Regional Coordinator, and the upcoming Prize Bingo and Gutsy Walk will be discussed. Everyone welcome. More info, call Mike at 902-925-2582.
● New Glasgow Legion – Bingo
will be held on Thursday instead of Friday due to the Good Friday holiday.

● 20 Minutes at the Foot of the Cross – Noontime devotions during Holy Week, First Baptist Church, New Glasgow, 12:15-12:35 pm. Speaker: Rev. John Dunnett. Everyone invited.
April 14
● Drama Ministry – First Baptist Church (East River Road, New Glasgow) will present its fifth annual Good Friday Drama with Music, “Believe,” at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Everyone is invited. No charge.
April 15
● Easter Tea and Sale – 2-4 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Church in Pictou with pantry, new to you, jewelry etc. tables. Price $7.
● Easter Egg Hunt – 11 a.m.- 4 p.m., Stellarton Library.
● Easter Saturday Breakfast – French Toast & Sausage, 8-11 a.m., St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, New Glasgow (George St. entrance). Cost $6 or $18 for a family of four or more.
● Cape Breton Style Square Dance – Plymouth Community Centre. Music by Heather Cameron,
Lorna Kennedy, and Fhinn Timmons. Beginners lesson at 6:30 p.m. led by Irene Endicott. Dance begins at 7 p.m. $5 or by donation.
● Easter Egg Hunt – 1-3 p.m. at Abercrombie Fire Department for kids 12 and under. Facepainting, cookie decorating, colouring, cartoons. Bring your own basket.
● Easter Pancake and Sausage Breakfast – Westville Legion 8 a.m. to noon. $5/person. Games, candy, balloons and Easter Bunny present for kids.
● Easter Egg Hunt – 11 a.m.- 4 p.m., Trenton Library.
● Auction 45s – Trenton Legion 1 p.m.
● Breakfast with the Easter Bunny – Presented by the Kinette
Club of New Glasgow, 9-11 a.m. at New Glasgow Academy. Cost $5 per person, pictures with the Easter Bunny, fish pond, face painting. Tickets can be purchased at Big Al’s and Needs in Westville, New Glasgow and Trenton.
