● Monthly Meeting – Let Abilities Work, 1 p.m., Christian Fellowship Church basement, Abercrombi­e Road, New Glasgow. Guest speakers John and Amber Guthro will talk to our group on working from home. Other agenda items include updates on our community inclusive and accessible social & recreation activities and plans for our upcoming annual meeting. All welcome to attend.

April 22

● Old Time Dance – 7:30 p.m. at West Branch Community Hall. Music by The MacKinnons plus Marilyn, Alvin and Aldie; Roger Simms, calling. Lunch served, shared sweets. Admission $7.

● Celebrate Earth Day – Night of Music including renowned Pictou County performers at First United Church, High St., Trenton, starting at 7 p.m., followed by light lunch and fellowship. Freewill offering at door.

● Pictou County 4-H Talent and Service Auction – 7 p.m. at the Pictou Legion. Local goods available for auction. Money raised goes to Pictou County 4-H programmin­g and constructi­on of a new barn. Tea, coffee and dessert, $5 admission at the door.

● Bottle Drive – East River Valley Recreation hosting from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Drop off at the bottle barn (2612 East River East Side Road) or Recreation Field. You can also leave them outside your house marked for ERV Recreation if you will not be home.
