Patricia Mary Jane Swain

Patricia Mary Jane Swain, 78 of Anderson’s Mountain passed away peacefully May 15, 2017, at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.

Born in New Glasgow she was a daughter of the late Seymoure and Catherine (Dewtie) Crook.

She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Stephen Swain, Anderson’s Mountain; children: Paul Landry, Pictou; Sam Landry, Halifax; Wendy Landry, Thorburn; Elvin Landry, New Glasgow; Justin Landry, Bridgeville; Wanda Davidson, Anderson’s Mountain; Charles Swain, New Glasgow; Stephanie MacLeod, Kenzieville; Violet O’Laney, New Glasgow; Jean Smith, Thorburn; Steve Swain, Ontario; many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren; a sister, Catherine (Jim) Morrison, New Glasgow; a brother, Lawrence (Linda), Broadway; mother-in-law, Pearl Swain, Sydney.

She was also a longtime friend of Bill W.

She was predeceased by a brother, Franklin, an infant sister, Lexi Anne, a sister, Martha Mae, and a niece, Mary Darlene.

Cremation to take place. There will be no services at this time.

The family will privately celebrate Patricia’s life at a later date.
