Loch Broom girl found safe
A 12-year-old Loch Brook girl who went missing Friday has been found safe.
Staff-Sgt. Al Affleck of the RCMP said she was found late Saturday morning and the incident is not criminal-related.
The girl was reported missing around 9:30 p.m. Friday after telling her mother she was going for a bike ride around 6 p.m. She was last seen in the town of Pictou at 8 p.m., before being located.
Pictou County Ground Search and Rescue had a mobile command post set up at the Pic- tou rotary on Saturday morning until the girl was found.
