● Benefit Dance – for Little Ava Foote at Wranglers Pub & Grill on Friday, 9 p.m.-1 a.m. Entertainm­ent by Foxy Entertainm­ent (Gene Mills). Donations at the door.

● RTO Meeting – The Pictou Branch of RTO will hold their AGM at 10 a.m. at the Salvation Army Hall in Westville (across from Tim Hortons). The new executive for the upcoming year will be elected at this meeting, so please attend.

● Auction 45s – Trenton Legion 1 p.m.

● Farm Day – at Earth Arc 11 a.m.4 p.m. Wagon rides, canteen and barbecue, feed the goats and meet the 25 horses in Earth ARC’s care. Free admission. 644 Heron Rd. (off highway 376 near Central West River) in Four Mile Brook.

● Old Time Dance – 7:30 p.m. at West Branch Community Hall. Music by The MacKinnons plus Marilyn, Alvin and Tracy; Roger Simms, calling. Lunch served, shared sweets. Admission $7.

● Star of the Sea Centre – 26 St. Stephen Street, Pictou, hosting a yard sale and garden party 8 a.m.-4 p.m. with the garden party beginning at 11 a.m. Live music, food and drinks, games. ● Walk with Refugees – for a Stronger Canada. Hosted by CAiRN. Commencing from the New Caledonian Curling Club, Caladh Avenue, Pictou at 6 p.m. All welcome to share in this act of solidarity with those displaced from their homelands.
